CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are looking for two men who carjacked a man who was with his four-year old child on Monday night in Naperville.

Naperville Police Commander Lou Cammiso said the carjacking happened in the parking lot of the Bristol Station Apartments, in the 2100 block of Allegre Circle, not too far from the Metra train station on Route 59.

A man and his four-year old child were ordered at gunpoint out of their 2016 red Nissan Rogue and then the robbers took the car and the man’s wallet, keys and cellphone.

"The man and the child exited the vehicle and went into their residence and the two offenders fled the scene in their vehicle - a 2016 red Nissan Rogue," Cammiso said.

Cmdr. Cammiso said it’s unclear whether the suspects were from the area or came into the area via the train or some other way but he said the "vehicle was possibly headed eastbound on I-88 toward the city."

No one was injured.

The offenders are described as follows:

  • Suspect #1: Black Male, approximately 20 years old, 5'05"-5'09", dark skin, thin build, dark curly hair. Wearing an unknown color hooded sweatshirt.
  • Suspect #2: Black Male, approximately 20 years old, shorter than Suspect #1, wearing a mask, a hooded sweatshirt, armed with a handgun.

If anyone has information regarding these crimes, they are encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
